Welcome to the Illinois MBA! 

New beginnings are always filled with times of preparation. The Illinois MBA offers several activities and programs that help students adjust to life in Urbana-Champaign, prepare for classes, meet fellow classmates, and prepare for new beginnings. Below are two of the programs for incoming students.

PreTerm
PreTerm is your introduction to the Illinois MBA, the University of Illinois, and the Urbana-Champaign community. During this exciting experience, you will meet faculty, staff, and fellow classmates; learn more about the curriculum; and become engaged in a host of activities designed to introduce you to all aspects of the MBA program and your new community.

Preparatory English Program (PEP)
PEP is a three-week intensive business English program developed specifically for international students who have been admitted to the Illinois MBA. PEP is designed to make the transition from another language, culture, and educational system much easier. All of the courses and materials have been designed by our instructors to prepare students for the rigorous demands of the program. Many of the assignments in PEP are similar to assignments that will be required of first-year MBA students.
