As a member of the Illinois MBA, you have a unique opportunity to gain valuable business experience by applying to join Illinois Business Consulting (IBC). IBC, formerly known as OSBI Consulting, is a consulting organization within the College of Business that provides opportunities for students to deliver valuable business solutions to real external clients and to participate in the management of a consulting firm.

Each year, IBC selects 175-200 graduate and undergraduate students from programs across the campus to work on cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, to develop conclusions, and to present recommendations to clients. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to middle market companies to start-ups and not-for-profit organizations, including other University departments. Under the guidance of a professional staff with several years of consulting experience, IBC’s student Leadership Team actively manages the organization and its activities.
