Alan D. Feldman learned early how to set ambitious goals and developed a passion for achieving. To help him deal with childhood asthma, he started swimming, and by the time he graduated from high school he was one of the top four high school swimmers in the state of Illinois. That passion has been present throughout his career. Feldman joined Midas as President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2003. He was named Chairman of the Board of Directors in May 2006.

Prior to this, Mr. Feldman held senior management posts at McDonald's Corporation. His most recent positions were President and Chief Operating Officer of McDonald's Americas and President of McDonald's USA. In addition, Mr. Feldman held financial and operational posts with the Pizza Hut and Frito-Lay units of Pepsico. Mr. Feldman is also a director of Foot Locker, Inc.

Mr. Feldman is married and has three daughters. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
