PreTerm is your introduction to the Illinois MBA, the University of Illinois, and the Urbana-Champaign community. During this exciting experience, you will meet faculty, staff, and fellow classmates; learn more about the curriculum; and become engaged in a host of activities designed to introduce you to all aspects of the MBA program and your new community.

PreTerm 2008 will be held August 18-24, 2008, and is mandatory for all incoming students. Our Summer Packet contains important information regarding PreTerm and outlines some activities you will need to complete before you arrive on campus. 

Please note that you will be required to purchase a laptop computer for use during your time at Illinois, so if you will be ordering your laptop, allow sufficient time for delivery.  Before PreTerm begins on August 18, you will need to make an appointment to complete the laptop check-in process.  More information regarding the check-in, including times can be found here.

The MBA1 Booklist will be updated periodically.  Textbooks may be purchased from the Illini Union Bookstore or T.I.S. Bookstore or you may choose to order textbooks through online sources.  Please note that you may need to purchase additional course packets and resources as requested by your professors once classes begin.
