Case Competitions
Case competitions allow Illinois MBAs to showcase their business acumen and presentation skills. In addition, when our teams successfully compete, it enhances the image of the Illinois MBA to recruiters, other business professionals, and members of other MBA programs. Students desiring to participate in an external case competition must first participate in an internal case competition. Please visit www.mba.uiuc.edu/M/Student+Life/Case+Competitions.htm for additional information.

Conference Travel Awards
The Graduate College will provide awards each semester for students to travel to professional conferences. These conference travel awards are intended to support students who will be presenting papers, posters, or creative work at conferences or competing in a case competition. The MBA program must endorse and approve the student’s participation in the conference. A student is eligible to receive only one Conference Travel Grant per academic year. For more information visit www.grad.uiuc.edu/policies/travelgrant/index.htm.

Healthcare

• McKinley Health Center
  • All full-time students pay a mandatory Health Service Fee that allows them to utilize the services of McKinley Health Center. The Health Service Fee covers primary services provided by McKinley and some medications. Visit www.mckinley.uiuc.edu or call 333-2701 for more information.
• Student Insurance
  • Students are required to pay the Student Health Insurance Fee or provide documentation that they have other health insurance coverage equivalent to the University plan. Visit www.si.uiuc.edu for more information regarding coverage during times when not enrolled in classes, extensions, adding dependents, etc.

MBAA Fee/Student Clubs
