Independent Study allows a student to pursue a topic of his or her own area of interest or to pursue a course that may not be offered during a particular term. - If requesting the independent study to satisfy an MBA elective, the student must have written approval from MBA Student Affairs and the professor overseeing the study.
- A student may enroll in up to four credit hours in Independent Study during the second year.
- Summer registration for Independent Study is not permitted.
- Independent Study credit will be included in the maximum allowed 20 semester hours.
- Department will provide course number, instructor's Course Reference Number (CRN), and section number for the independent study.
- The student must submit completed and approved form to MBA Student Affairs for final approval and processing.
