Dean’s Scholarship
Dean's Scholarships are highly competitive scholarships awarded through an on-campus competition. The competition is by invitation only from the Admissions Committee. Winners of the Dean’s Scholarship will receive full tuition for their first year of MBA study.
We Want You Back: The Illinois × 2 Scholarship The Illinois × 2 Scholarship offers a 50% tuition reduction during the first year of MBA study. The scholarship is exclusively for University of Illinois alumni who meet the following criteria:

Are admitted to the Illinois MBA

Hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Have a minimum of two years professional work experience

Score a 650 or above on the GMAT
-
Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework
College of Business/IVG Benefit Partnership Program
The College of Business/IVG Benefit Partnership Program offers financial aid to returning military veterans who meet the eligibility guidelines.
Entering Class Merit Scholarships
Entering class Merit Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission to the Illinois MBA. Recipients are selected in the course of the admission process; no additional application materials are required of the applicant.
Donor Scholarships
The MBA program also has several endowed scholarships that are awarded to first-year MBA students after classes begin. Interested students should submit an application for the scholarship(s) they wish to apply for.
Currently, these scholarships include the following:

College of Business Alumni Association. Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, leadership ability, service activities in the College of Business and the community. Preference will be given to students holding a bachelor’s degree from the College of Business.

F.G. Erinkitola Memorial Award. Preference given to a native Nigerian or those of Nigerian descent.

Edward F. Mineman Memorial Scholarship. The Mineman funds support the MBA program through the Mineman Scholarship as well as the Department of Nuclear Engineering.

Andrew E. Stallman Memorial Scholarship. Based on academic merit, leadership ability, service activities in the College of Business and the community, and financial need, this scholarship gives first preference to an Illinois resident with an engineering degree or background. If possible, the recipient shall have overcome or experienced personal hardship or difficulty in pursuing education, business, employment, or other life goals.

Military Veteran Scholarships
Veteran Scholarships are for individuals who are veterans, spouses of a veteran, or are the dependent of a veteran. Your local Department of Veterans Office is the best source of information. An applicant can also contact the Office of Veterans Affairs at the University of Illinois by calling (217) 333-0100 or (217) 333-9283.
Minority Student Scholarships
The Toigo Fellowship is a great opportunity for U.S. minority MBA applicants who are interested in and committed to working in finance. Other Scholarships
- Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) - George A. Gecowets Graduate Scholarship Program provides $1000 for one year of full-time study. Additional information can be found at http://www.sms.scholarshipamerica.org/cscmp/.
- The FMC Educational Fund Fellowship will award nine University of Illinois students $9,000 fellowships this year. Candidates for a Master's in Business Administration or Engineering are particularly encouraged to apply. The FMC Educational Fund Fellowship was established in 1963 by a donation of 15,000 shares of stock in the Link-Belt Company (now FMC Technologies, Inc.) to the University of Illinois Foundation by Bert A. Gayman, an alumnus of the University of Illinois. Specific details on how to apply can be found here.
